1st Annual Waxhaw Arts Council Members Juried Art Show!

The Waxhaw Arts Council is a non-profit, 501-C3 organization that promotes the development of art education in Western Union County, North Carolina and encourages artistic passion and talents by being both a window and a voice for the arts in the Waxhaw area.

The Waxhaw Arts Council purpose is to:

Enhance and promote the viability of our community’s art talents through strong support and encouragement of the arts.

Ignite artistic passion in all types and levels of artists by strengthening and expanding art organizations, art programs and events in our community.

Enable area artists and students to display their craft and skill locally.

Educate the public about the various art disciplines, both visual and performing.

Bring enthusiasm to the Waxhaw area for artistic expression.

Increase art education opportunities and serve as a conduit for introducing art into our area from other regions.
